Merynn started playing golf at the
age of nine. She was a member of Oahu Junior Golf Association and Hawaii
State Junior Golf Association, and played in various local and national
tournaments. A 2001 graduate of Aiea High School, she attends the
University of Nebraska-Lincoln on a golf and academic scholarship. She
is earning her degree in news-journalism and hopes to pursue a career
covering golf events. | |
