resort Beach Course, which was designed by Robert Trent Jones, Jr. Opened in 1981, the Beach Course is visually spectacular, weaving its way through lava beds down to the pounding surf.

Its signature twelfth hole lies against stark black
lava rock at the edge of the Pacific Ocean. It offers golfers both challenge and satisfaction, with an intimidating par 5 measuring 501 yards.
