6/7/03 Finals (36 holes)- Kellen-Floyd "The Gun" Asao turned 20 today and along with that got the birthday present of a lifetime... the 95th Manoa Cup Championship! Asao defeated 15-year-old Kurt Nino 8 & 7 in today's final match. Including the qualifying round, Asao played 139 holes in which he had 1 double eagle, 5 eagles, 54 birdies, 56 pars, 23 bogies and 0 others! I'd like to send special thanks to Tournament Director Jay Hinazumi, Head Golf Professional Andrew Feldmann, Sue Asao & Corinne Toyama for inputting all the data and the additional help, the scoreboard masters David & Amy Kim and all the players/fans for your continued support. Just a little tidbit, if a player plays the full 162 holes (9 rounds) he will walk a total of 33.24 miles minimum!
