2005 PowerBilt Junior Tour Hawaii Qualifier

June 15 at Pearl Country Club

SCORES | tell a friend

The mission of the PowerBilt Junior tour is to provide high quality golf competitions at the finest golf facilities affording young people the opportunity to experience the benefits of honesty and integrity, which the game of golf can provide.  Profits will be directed toward scholarships for deserving young people. The tour features 19 events followed by a Tournament of Champions.

Hawaii’s PowerBilt representative has secured 8 places (2 boys and 2 girls from each age division: 11/15 and 16/19) for the tournament on July 18-19 in Stanwood, Michigan.

The Hawaii qualifier is open to girls and boys, ages 11-19 years. To participate, juniors must be 11 as of August 2, 2005. Juniors who have entered college are ineligible.

It is intended that first place ties and ties for the second qualifying spots will be broken by a playoff immediately following the round. This tournament’s “Notice to Competitors” will explain the procedure in greater detail. Any ties broken via scorecard matching will use the procedure outlined in the 2005 HSJGA handbook.

The HSJGA has sanctioned this qualifier: it will count as a “100” point tournament towards both “Player of the Year” and the Hawaii teams. To earn HSJGA points, players must be HSJGA members and have passed the 2005 HSJGA rules test by the entry deadline.

For more information, contact Carol Arakawa at (808) 942-2600 or the HSJGA at 532-0559 visit www.HSJGA.org.
